Friends of NWC Channel 7,

As things have changed over the past three years in the staff and crew of NWC Channel 7, The NoCo Show has been the one constant through it all. Advisory changes, staff changes, and crew changes have caused the way programs are produced, and the number of simultaneous programs we could support to change, but thus far The NoCo Show has been the one driving feature of our station.

The Executive Staff (which includes Nathan Dull, Kenny King, CJ Luck, Dr. Robin Riley, and Krista Wallace) have seen that though The NoCo Show has served its purpose of being an educational experience, and a fun, entertaining show to watch and be a part of, we see that the educational opportunities are becoming less and less in a live, late night format. New groups of students have come up with new and exciting ideas for a show, and they are passionate about what they intend to do. We see this as an amazing opportunity for new leadership and educational experiences to arise, and for the crew to be a part of something they are passionate about, and will continue into years to come.

So it is with bittersweet feelings that The NoCo Show must come to an end. The final episode of the series will air live on NWC Channel 7 and CTV Channel 15 on December 11th, 2008 at 9:00p.m. I encourage you to attend to support us in this final effort. For those of you who have been loyal to this show, I sincerely thank you for your support, and ask that you stay tuned for new and exciting things coming this fall.

The Exec Staff of NWC Channel 7 has submitted the October 23rd episode of The NoCo Show with Kenny King to the Intercollegiate National Religious Broadcasters Student Production Awards Competition. If chosen, a $300 prize will be awarded, and we will receive a certificate at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention in Nashville, Tennessee in February.
